Will this help or hurt McCain, and do you think he will really pick him?

No, he would not pick him in a million years.
This is like the rumors that CP will or has endorsed Obama.

http://news.aol.com/elections/article/powe...eep-pick/145906I would prefer Powell on top, but it would get my vote in a heartbeat.

Nope, sorry.
Colin's a bottom. Proved it time and again.
Seems he was even named appropriately.

Edit for spel.

Well, it could certainly save them a lot of money on the convention. Powell could just get on tv and show drawings of a massive convention supporting a McCain/Powell ticket. MSM would lap it up.
After all, it worked before.

You can put Franklin Delano Roosevelt on the repug ticket, they lie, they lie, and they lie. They also lie. Just in case I didn't tell you, what ever the repugs tell you, it is deceit, absolute bushit! Promise you everything and sell it all to foreign corporations as free trade and privatization.

Yup. Powell knows too much and they need him out of the spotlight. All you have to do is show the clips of him at the Senate hearings showing "cartoon" drawings of supposed WMD sites in Iraq. Like something out of Monty Python.
The Republicans will pick a pasty rich White Man or a Stepford Republican Woman with big oil connections. The major qualification is making sure the candidate doesn't have more houses then McCain. So that eliminates Bloomberg.

John Sidney McCain III (born August 29, 1936)
Colin Luther Powell, KCB (Honorary), MSC (April 5, 1937)
Good choice, McCain needs to add a little (very little) youth to the ticket.
