Full Version: I- RAQ
I can't help it!! It really gets on my nerves the HUGE number of people that I speak to daily or watch on TV talking about the war in IRAQ, and keep mispronouncing the country's name I-RAQ. I feel like if you can say the name of that country correctly, you have no biz talking about the war. I want to scream in their face " It's IRAQ you idiot"

It bugs me too when they call Iraq EYE-Rak instead of EEE-Rak. It's like calling America Am-UR-KA.
