Randys, the possible election of a black, Democratic president will NEVER be a non-issue to huge numbers in this country.

It quite frankly scares the living shit out of them.

The race and class issues are going to be completely blown open between now and November...

(Avoiding redundancy...see sig below, lol...)

It seems that the talking heads keep trying to fuel the fire of disenfranchished Hillary supporters. Last night Caroline Kennedy, did a great job of shutting down Wolf Blitzer (I can't stand him) when he was prodding Caroline about why Hillary wasn't vetted for the VP slot; Caroline said "It sounds like you know quite a bit about it, the process is confidential, I'm not going to talk to you about it" and she didn't. Way to go!

This is not a game! Our country is killing people, right now we are placing chess pieces on the board with Super Carriers and DDG's and Nuke subs, while Russia does the same. 1.4 trillion dollars went to China to build Super Carriers, aircraft, subs, and when they are told to fight, they cannot say no.

For the first time in our history, an administration guts the Constitution, sets up fascism without being accountable to anyone.

It is not Obama's and Biden's race to lose, it is OUR COUNTRY that we will lose. It already is just about bought and paid for. So the next time you look at that man, now you understand why the repugs make fun of him being the Savior. Because in a way, he is.

Now that you understand that people fought and died for rights you just shrug off, and they all ready have been taken away, you just might to understand the gravity of this situation.

Hey, SuziStef, thought you were busy packing for St. Paul all these weeks!

Why are people nervous? Because it's so GD important, I imagine. You know, and with the Repub's using Hillary's deceitful, dishonest words today just as folks knew they would months ago when she was losing but trying to mud-sling her way back into the race, it's made party unity a tough sell for some.

But let's wait and see if she acquits herself, figuratively and literally, tonight.

Think the negative attacks / Swift Vote
Think Ignorant citizens which should have denied the right to vote for being so stupid.
Think Carl Rove tactics and MSM smear machine

It is my contention that there are no PUMAs. Never were. It's a bunch of Bull.
It's a Rovian tactic designed to divide the Democratic party by fomenting a mute argument.
Don't be fooled. Anyone who is preaching that Hillary got robbed at this point is perniciously misrepresenting themselves and their intentions. IMHO.

Must be off the "Meds" again. I've told you a hundred times that am not you fantasy person "Stef". Did she harm you psychologically or something or what? I stand by by thread here, you Obama supporters seem to not be able to focus on McCain. Hillary is history and is am not mistaken, when I posted on this board during the primary that Obama will need Hillary in a general election, you Obama supporters said NO WAY!!!!

The rest of your rant not withstanding you have in fact been horribly insulted (unless you're lying and you are Stef) You see Stefy-Stef didn't have two pieces of grey matter to rub together to make a complete coherent thought. If you really aren't Stefy I'd be pissed if I were you. Stefy-Stef made "Stupid" a four syllable word.

Still say it, too. However, the Democrats REALLY could have used Hillary during the primary, though. But she was too busy working for McCain back then.

That's very good, XRS. Wish there was any chance whatsoever that I could count on remembering it when I need it. Alas, I'm not too bright myself (just two syllables worth). And if I DO remember, I just MAY forget that I didn't write it.

I meant only to comment on the quality of the standard of measure, applicable to so many throughout the day. Like the guy I saw today who backed up the Woodman exit ramp of the 101 Fwy. And I don't mean he started to exit and changed his mind. I mean, he arrived at the limit line to make a right turn, then tossed the car into reverse, backed up the ramp, then reentered the freeway at the second busiest freeway intersection in the nation on one of the rare occasions it was moving at a nice 65-70 mph.

Given the opportunity, I'd love to have had it on the tip of my tongue that he "made "Stupid" a four syllable word."

As you know I'm originally from NYC. It took me a long time to stop shouting out of my car window at people. A friend reminded me that everyone on the 405 has a gun.
If I can't control the urge I will usually say something that will leave them without an adequate come back like "What's wrong with your head?" It's amazing. Leaves them speechless.

I have to agree with those that think McCain can win based on my personal experience.
My Mom and Dad (both elderly and anti Bush Republicans--who voted for him both times) are voting for McCain. They are too afraid of change. It drives me completely crazy to think that they will vote for someone who will only make the rest of my years (I'm 34) harder. Esp when (and PLEASE no offense to anyone over 65) they won't be around for the long term effects.
I'm scared t o death of what's to come if Obama doesn't win.
And my experience has absolutely NOTHING to do with Clinton.

Oh, Jencom...I really feel for you. I'm older, not quite elderly, but I'm totally ready to turn this government over to a new generation that will hopefully make the changes we so desperately need. I do think of my kids, who are your age, and what their futures hold for them if the U.S. keeps following these criminals currently in power. I'm so sorry that your folks are voting for McCain out of fear. Maybe you'll be able to talk them down and into voting for your future.

Thank you. Believe me when I say I try everyday and will continue until it's time for them to punch that card. I just don't understand it. My folks are like so many others out there. In their 70's, struggling on a fixed income and dealing with the NIGHTMARE of the MediCare. I keep thinking "what more do you have to lose????".
Even worse is that their generation actually votes. Mine likes to talk about it, but on that day, where are they? Getting coffee, running errands, at the office? Not voting. You know, they have "better" things to do.

I'm so frustrated with where we are. And I see that we are so close to a real change...yet so far away.

I just hope others like you Easilyannoyed are thinking about the long term effects. Thank you for doing so.
