Alright, here's a fun one. I must seem like a pessimist because I only post a topic when I disagree with Randi. So here's a different one. Randi was talking about the major networks all interviewing each other and doing absolutely no real work. I couldn't agree more.

I was reading a CNN article where they had a "body language" expert to decipher Hillary Clinton's speech at the convention. They "deciphered" that she was really giving out a sign to the delegates against Obama.

Ok, so the purpose of this post... Does anyone have any ideas for other CNN "experts" that can be useful in producing news of this high caliber? I noticed she was wearing an orange dress, a very angry choice of color. That could use an expert to examine. Any more?

When the Worst Political Team in TeeVee Land got around to discussing a debate between Mom Biden and Mom McCain, I knew without question that CNN is the new FOX.

You know what... I gotta go send that to CNN... BRB...

Hey, a debate, or better, a boxing match between Ma Biden and Ma McCain. I'm hoping Ma Biden will flaten Ma McCain.

I HAVE A THEORY THAT WHEN THE INTERNET BECAME MORE POPULAR, THAT'S WHEN THE CORPORATE SHILLS TOOK OVER REPORTING, THEY DIDN'T WANT THE OLDER PEOPLE TO GET THE REAL NEWS.

I HAVE A THEORY THAT WHEN THE INTERNET BECAME MORE POPULAR, THAT'S WHEN THE CORPORATE SHILLS TOOK OVER REPORTING, THEY DIDN'T WANT THE OLDER PEOPLE TO GET THE REAL NEWS.

I have a theory that, if the text of the Congressional Record run on screen 24/7, in addition to airing every White House Press conference and press gaggle live, and televising every single candidate stump speech and appearance, coffee and forum, all that along with gavel to gavel coverage of the senate on one side of the screen and the house on the other side of the screen, with every last congressional hearing televised in boxes sprinkled around the screen - if all or any of that could consistently beat by 1% the ratings of "Two and a Half Men" and "Lost," that's exactly what would be on every broadcast channel.

Indeed, because of the immediate and astonishing savings of millions or billions on everything from producers and writers, to set builders and actors, if all that informative programming could capture even half or three quarters of the rating of today's more popular programming, those same corporate shills would virtually instantly institute 100%, 24/7 all-civic news and information programming.
