Now this is a bit of a rumor but it all makes sense READ ON!
Cover-up? Alaska Gov. Palin ® announced she was pregnant. Local rumors suggest she is covering up for her 16 y/o daughter.
jibegod posted: Second post the first post was today 4 month after the thread started.
On March 5th, 2008 Alaska's Republican Governor, Sarah Palin, announced to the media that she was 7 months pregnant with her 5th child. She is currently 44.
The controversy arises from two sources: First, Palin does not appear pregnant in any recent photographs. The announcement came as quite a shock to people who had worked closely with her, and have been quoted as saying that she did not appear pregnant whatsoever during the prior 7 months. While this is debatable, you can judge for yourself here: http://gov.state.ak.us/photos.php
The State of Alaska has REMOVED the photo! But I saw it and she had on tight pants with a very flat stomach.
Second, Palin's daughter Bristol is 16 and attends an Anchorage high school. Students who have attended class with her report that she has been out of school for months, claiming a prolonged case of mono.
Apparently, this rumor has made the rounds in the upper echelon of the Alaska legislature, and is a closely guarded secret. As far as I know, this rumor has not been discussed by any media outlets, in Alaska or otherwise.
The points here are based mostly upon hearsay, and I'm not trying to destroy an innocent family. However, a Republican politician hiding a pregnant teenage daughter seems rather newsworthy.

Gov. Sarah Palin gave birth to her fifth child at 6:30 a.m. Friday, flying home from a conference in Texas to have the baby boy at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.
Meet Trig Paxson Van Palin. He's 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and about a month early.
"It was quite a surprise," said Palin spokeswoman Sharon Leighow.
Palin and her husband, Todd, had been in Texas since Tuesday for a Republican Governors Association convention, Leighow said.
The Palin family issued a statement that read: "Trig is beautiful and already adored by us. We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives."
Asked what special challenges the family was referring to, Leighow said, "It's a family matter, and that information should come from the governor herself."
Leighow said Palin and her son were healthy and resting comfortably Friday.
The sequence of events surrounding the labor was unclear.
An announcement from the state said that Palin's "labor began (Thursday) while she was in Texas at the governor's energy conference, where she gave the keynote luncheon address, but let up enough for her to travel on Alaska Airlines back to Alaska in time to deliver her second son."
Leighow said she doesn't know when Palin's contractions began.
"The governor would have never left Texas if she thought that it put her child at risk," she said.
Palin's parents, Chuck and Sally Heath, declined to be interviewed.
Like the rest of Alaskans, Leighow said, she learned the baby's name on Friday.
