'coz there's wind in the air, so to speak, about a mass defection, in dribs and drabs, from the Republican Party, amongst their elected representatives - just like happened at the beginning of the Reagan Administration, the other way.

There's a bunch of Reeper's been AWFUL silent during the campaign season, and nominating Governor Palin pretty much put them over the edge, canya say Dan Quayle, canya say Harriet Meiers.

Buncha Republicans are looking at the chance of getting some moderation and fiscal conservativism into governance, and figure they've got a better chance being a team player BlueDog Democrat with Obama, than being one of the back-benchers shoved into the corner by McCain as he continues to pursue his pitiful War.

There's gonna be some nose-counting and hand-stamping at the Reeper Convention, and if ya don't show, you better have a goddam good excuse, wife's dying or something (not that THAT ever stopped a Good Republican).
They're smelling DEFECTION in the air. Not just losing the Presidency, or a few elections - but overt ship-jumping by Republicans who aren't drinking the KoolAid, and those who believe in civil rights and other such stuff.

The Obama October Surprise is gonna be driven by some FAMOUS names that end with ®, some of them even in the CURRENT ADMINISTRATION, who start getting all starry-eyed about Barack.

Believe it.

I so hope you are right. I am getting soooo much negative crap from my family about how Obama screwed up. I never liked Hillary and told them why, so I have been an outsider in my own family. I have always been a person of conviction and have never let a boss or company brow beat me. I never expected it from my own family. I hope we are right, this country cannot take anymore. If this election goes repug, with my credentials I will end up working overseas.

She's gonna try & run with that 'pro-life' agenda, I don't know anyone who is anti-life, she is just anti-choice, just like the rest of her kind..........

Operation Chaos did not happen yet, maybe this week!

I'm not writing off the rapture ready crowd in this election. McCain played right into their hands. He's more interested in power than the direction of the country and his pick of Palin proves it. The rapture heads are loving it, straight to the polls in November. I've heard pollsters from the previous election say that it was the evangelicals who came through for Bush. It may happen again if the youth vote (the group that votes in the least numbers) doesn't get their asses to the polls in November.

Nope, it was Ken Blackwell who came through for bush.

Just wait until the convention. Even Jorge may not show up, and I'm tellin' ya, there's members of HIS OWN WHITE-HOUSE CLUB, west-wing passes and everything, who are gonna come out for Obama, either quietly or loudly, a bunch of September or October resignations, and some sorry, sorry whoop-ass on the Republican Party.
