No it was just a Presidential Focus group hosted by the infamous frat boy Frank Luntz.

It was damn good too because these people were having nothing to do with him trying to change their minds about McCain or Palan and way over half of them were more favorable to Obama.

He even got pissed at one guy's answer and said to the guy "Did you LIE to me!! Just to get into this focus group? I think some of you people really have made up your minds that your going to vote for Obama!!

yipee.gif OMG it was great he even got a little red in the face.

Here it is :
AARP Campaign 2008 Focus Group (August 31, 2008)

Republican Polster Frank Luntz conducted a focus group with undecided Minnesota voters, reacting to the Democratic Convention, Sen. Obama's acceptance speech and the McCain-Palin ticket. Event was sponsored by AARP.

but you have to go to the home page it's half way down under recent programming

Meh.

I can't play it. Keeps telling me "Unsupported Transport."

Maybe I'll try on my WinTel machine. . .

Nope, I can't get it to run on any of my browsers in my Wintel either.

What video format are they using?

Are you supposed to download a proprietary player of some kind??

SickupandFed
Rep "Boner" is on 1 right now. I think that's funny too.
NoYards
It's in "realmedia" format, you'll probably have to install the realmedia player. You can try going to http://www.real.com/ and installing the player (I believe there are Win/Mac/Linux versions available.)

hmm.... I will check into that. As far as I know, I've had Real Media on my systems for a while now.

Maybe I didn't.

Thanks.

I finally saw this.

This guy Luntz is a jerk.

I realize he's a Republican Pollster, but talk about asking leading questions and directional framing!

If there is one thing I've learned from Penn and Teller it's to say "Fuck you, Frank Luntz" everytime I see a poll.

I watched it, they look like a bunch of regular people who are not that highly educated or informed. I saw one of the campaign clips that Obama fully stated, how he was going to deal with the uninsured. The lady told Luntz that she wanted to know, what they were going to do about that.... so she has a problem hearing. They did understand that the repugs are not accountable for what they do. Everyone was dismayed except for one lady, the pick for McSame's VP. If this is what we are looking at, with the people who still did not know who they are going to vote for, America has already had a lobotomy. The repugs have killed our brains. No drilling necessary.

Frank Luntz is better suited for holding focus groups on toilet cleansers and floor wax then presidential elections. What a scam artist.

I watched it.

Mostly, the people annoyed me. I can't stand wishy washy people. They can be swayed to either side at any given second.

One good thing, they mostly all agreed on Sarah Palin and how terrifying it would be if she had to step in as president.

I liked the Fox reporter who got angry at the people for thinking Obama would be more accountable than McCain.

Oh, and when they were asked "What's most important to you? The convention, the ads, or the debates?" 90% of them raised their hands for debates and then they were asked "How many of you watched the debates in 2004?" and only a few raised their hands. Then they were asked "How many of you watched the debates in 2000?" and nobody raised their hands.

This was a room filled with mostly middle aged people. I was still in high school in 2000 and even I watched those debates. I also watched the debates with Clinton and Dole and Clinton and Bush.

I was more informed when I was in elementary school than these people are in their 40's and 50's
