Much has been made in the past year about Barack Obama and his 2 books. They've been critically priased. They've been cherry-picked and misquoted by his detractors. They are the source of his wealth. They were the butt of a joke on SNL, where the quality of their narrative were the subject of Obama's line of questioning to David Petraeus. A member of this board went on a tirade awhile back claiming that every time she criticized Obama, someone would tell her to read his books for the truth.

But honor in politics?
I defined it in five books. Read my books.
later on he would say. . .
My life has been well chronicled, in the books I wrote, and people who know me would say on many occasions that I've been a flawed and imperfect servant of my country, but I'm proud of my service to my country.
and flat out refuse to answer a couple of questions, as well as give a litany of one word answers.
