I've not ran into any articles that compares the two of them on their views, but wouldn't it be fairly safe to say that Coulter and Palin's views are pretty much the same? I'd guess that Palin's IQ is much higher than Coulters, but if we were to mask their faces and voices when asking the same political questions on issues, I'd bet the answers would come very close to being the same. Has anyone read any comments made by Ann Coulter about Palin?

Don't assume that just because someone is a right-wing nut job - that they don't have a high IQ or are not educated!

As an undergraduate at Cornell University, Coulter helped found The Cornell Review,[9] and was a member of the Delta Gamma national women's fraternity.[10] She graduated cum laude from Cornell in 1984, and received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she achieved membership in the Order of the Coif and was an editor of the Michigan Law Review.[11] At Michigan, Coulter founded a local chapter of the Federalist Society and was trained at the National Journalism Center.[12]

Palin attended Hawaii Pacific College in Hilo, Hawaii, in 1982 for a semester, where she majored in Business Administration, and transferred in 1983 to North Idaho College.[9] In 1987,[10] Palin received a Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism from the University of Idaho, where she also minored in political science.[11][12] Palin briefly worked in broadcasting as a sports reporter for local Anchorage television stations and with her husband in commercial fishing.[6]

They both seem to be attracted to the power of guns. They'd make a dingy pair of militia types, no?

Bush went to an Ivy-league school as well.... He must be smart
firebat
I never said that!

Clearly Daddy HW got Sonny W into an Ivy League school where he graduated - somehow. And Admiral McCain got Johnny boy in to the Naval Academy where he also graduated - near the bottom of his class. Clearly, it is possible to buy a prestigious education in these schools where they apparantely fail nobody.

The point I was trying to make is that there are plenty of people with high IQs who are nutz and highly educated - and also there are many criminals with high IQs. I was just trying to point out that Ann Coulter is not stupid - she's just nutz - there's a difference!

Also, I would bet you that Ann does indeed have a higher IQ than Sarah - but they're both nutz!

I don't doubt you fire. I was just making a funny. But, really who's to say that Ann didn't have someone pull strings for her.

Not importaint though. Ann is only a dumb ass in my mind because she say's some doosies. But she is on National T.V. So..... I'm sorry I can't say it.

I get your point though. Not all right wingbats are dumb.

I can't imagine Mann supporting Palin. S/he doesn't even think women deserve the right to vote.

Myself, I'd say that she's not nuts, but stupid. POV If she were nuts, she'd been keeping residence in a padded room a long time ago. If she were intelligent, she'd not be a mouthy airheaded ditzo for the Republican Party. Coulter may somehow hold a higher IQ than Palin, (we don't have those academic numbers to compare such notes), but she sure doesn't use any of those 'book smarts' to her advantage when speaking. Unless this is all an act.

Sorry, you're just wrong.

You don't graduate cum laude from Cornell and get a law degree from Michigan and are stupid at the same time - doesn't work that way. If you've ever been to REAL schools in REAL programs you'd know better.

I know you don't like her, nor do I. But I don't let my dislike for someone cloud my own ability to reason!

Myself, POV, I'd say that she's not nuts, but stupid. More like ignorant stupid. If she were nuts, she'd been holding residence in a padded room a long time ago. If she were intelligent, she'd not be a mouthy airheaded ditz for the Republican Party. She might be still mouthy, but actually making sense for a party that has true morals if she were intelligent. Coulter may hold a higher IQ than Palin, (we don't have those academic numbers to compare such notes), and if so, she sure doesn't use any of those 'book smarts' to her advantage when speaking. Unless this is all an act which is possible in a world of anything is possible.

I'd say that we've shared opinions and disagree. If Coulter is nuts, does she a medical history to back that up?

First, I'd say that Cornell is greatly embarrassed by Coulter. If not they should be.

My dislike for Coulter isn't based on her party affiliation. If she were a Democrat, I'd be saying the same thing. She's ignorantly stupid to the point that she's a motor mouth ditzhead.

Actually you may be wrong. It really depends on your definition of intelligence. Many people can read and remember many tidbits from a book. This is a sign of intelligence for many people. And it very well may be so. But, some people also believe that intelligence is the ability to take thoes same tidbits of information and not only remember them but be able to extend upon the original thought with something worthy of new thought.

If you go back and look at the first post - the issue was Coulter vs Palin IQ. IQ is a specific measure of intelligence - one with which you may not agree - but that's how the initial point was made. There was no argument regarding the definition of intelligence. You might have your own - but that is off point with regards to the original context of the post.

If you can make it through a degree with honors from Cornell, and a law degree from Michigan - as Barack says - "I'll have that debate with you anytime".
