It seems to me that in 2000, after McCain had won New Hampshire and right around the time of the Sour Carolina primary, that Karl Rove started up his infamous rumor regarding an "illegitimate" black child fathered by McCain.
As I remember, the "black" child was named Briget, and was an orphan from Bangladesh adopted by McCain from one of mother Theresa's orphanages. Truly one of Rove's most disgusting "dirty tricks" ever played.
Anyway, what ever happend to this child. Don't seem to see her in this photograph. Anyone have any ideas other than McCain has stuffed her away so as to not scare away his more racist supporters?

Full Version: McCain's "Black" Child
I haven't seen Bridget on the campaign, although I have seen plenty of daughter Meghan. There could be a number of possible reasons why Bridget is not around, some obvious and some not so obvious. Although Bridget is seventeen and still a minor, it does seem striking that McCain would take a campaign photo of the McCain and Palin families and not include Bridget.
On occassion I stop by Meghan McCain's blog, but even there I don't see Bridget. Maybe she's been on the blog and I missed her. It will be interesting to see if Bridget makes a cameo when her father accepts the nomination. Who knows, maybe she likes Obama.

Why didn't that People magazine photo include all of his 7 children? Why just the blonde? Was seeing all of his children that much of a political gamble for McCain? Why the wait? Why the unveiling?

I saw her on the convention coverage...she seemed to be feeling uncomfortable...she is a big girl, very dark...with a beautiful smile...too bad they don't show her off as one of their own since they adopted her....shameful people.
