The Greatful Dead that is

QUOTE
The Grateful Dead has announced that they will reunite on October 13th for a fundraiser for Senator Barack Obama, according to dead.net. Details on where the show will be are still pending, but foxnews.com reported that the concert will take place in either Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and possibly lead to future band shows

You didn't hear the other day he fed 75,000 people with 12 loaves of bread and 5 fish?

I heard that but I guess I wasn't paying attention, I thought it was McCains welfare policy.

Anybody catch the Daily Show last night? After a hilarious piece about the Repub's and the administration screwing up so much related to Katrina, they followed with a hilarious announcement of Obama having single-handedly saved New Orleans from Gustav. They cut to a graphic of BO holding back the waters of the Mississippi from the levees ala parting the Red Sea.

TDS is having fun with this "God" stuff.

I saw that. It was hilarious, but not as good as the piece they did last week.

Hey, that segment where Rob Riggles asked KKKarl Rove if Bush had abandoned his people, was that Jeff Gannon/Guckert he was walking with?

I remember a big bald guy, the one who stuck his arm out to block the reporter and camera - but he wouldn't be THAT stupid, would he? Then again, Tom Delay is there, slinking around and hosting a huge lobbyist party two nights ago (that ABC sneaked a camera into). So, maybe so - I'll have to head over to the dailyshow.com to watch the piece again and check.

Awesome, they should have an "ObamaFest" with lots of top billing acts.
