Three key states, Ohio, Iowa, and Minnesota, all listed as tossup states have moved over into the Obama camp, two of them by double digits.

It was just reported by Blitzer so I have no link yet. (6:35 PM EDT)

Obama's projected electoral vote lead, based on in-state polls, is now 31 and more than enough to secure a win.

This will look very bad for them if (when) they attempt to steal the election.

Enough Americans are waking up, in spite of themselves.

If the votes are actually counted, Obama wins by a landslide. PERIOD.

So does Gore and Kerry. mad.gif

Yeah, saw that. Cool! King John, I mean John King rimshot.gif showed how Grampy McPaleface would have to get a Dem-leaning Ohio and every other tossup state, and could only afford to lose small eastern states and expect to win now. The math he did was like

239 Obama
189 McPaleface

where if Barak gets Florida he is over and in.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, that map does not include the change in Ohio which on that map still shows weak for McCain.

If you add the 20 to Obama and subtract them from McCain, it gives Obama a 71 EV load instead of 31, if my math is correct.

And, I fully expect Florida to go to Obama, too.

the map isn't even all that accurate, especially the terminology

it characterizes New York as "weak Democratic" since when is being up by 20 plus points considered a small lead confused-smiley-013.gif

It only shows him up 8 in NY, 47-39.

Check out the DC plurality, 90-9.

safe to say Barack will carry New York

so calling here "weak Democratic" is misleading

It's a sweep across the board, White House and both houses of Congress. biggrin.gif

They're using the most recent polls. Since polls differ, the spread will swing up and down even if public opinion doesn't.

Well I work at a nursing home and you won't believe this but there are more residents there that support Obama than not. I kid you not.

I have read accounts of / met at least 5 this week. The repugs like to deny this, but it is the truth: their non-loony religious extremist membership is seeing the light about the party, grampy and, now, Miss American Taliban seals the deal.

True Story: I was at a Moveon Hungry for Change bake sale for Obama a few weeks ago and a women walked up to us, said she was a lifelong Repug, wrote out a check for $50, and didn't even take any cookies !

My friends: THAT's change you can believe in bump.gif

My friends I've met another two Republicans for Obama in the last week myself.
