Lakoff wrote in the Huffington Post and I agree:
The Obama campaign has learned this. The Republicans have long known it, and the choice of Sarah Palin as their vice presidential candidate reflects their expert understanding of the political mind and political marketing. Democrats who simply belittle the Palin choice are courting disaster. It must be taken with the utmost seriousness.

Evidence being: The Ron Paul convention that is catching fire and as Randi said a lot of repub women are really pro choice and are beginning to be vocal about it. They can re-charge their Bush time supporters with conservative issues as espoused by Palin
and what she represents to them, the repub core.And we're falling for it hook line and sinker. Remember Quayle , he was an idiot
but they won with him, they got what they wanted.
The repubs are not about logic or issues the are about "conservative core values".
Example :When somebody calls the Hannity show they always say to him :"you are a great american" That's neocon code for :
Your only outward political ideas are god,guns ,hate gays ,etc. Everything else is subservient to these neocon principles.End of story.

If we try to attack the Palin Choice using liberal reasoning we will only drive away the independent leaning and repentant republicans that were coming out of the neocon smoke for Obama. Let's not blow it. Lets expose The guy behind the curtain:
