Here is an ad that is running with a heavy "Buy" here in Ohio.
It called "Know Enough" and it basically associates Obama with people who bombed the U.S. Capital (weather Underground.) The dates in the ad are incredibly misleading and it cries out for de-bunking by the media.
It's despicable.
I haven't heard Randi mention it so I wanted to get it out there.
If you are as outraged as I am, call the "news" networks and ask them why they are ignoring this ad.

It's the start of scorched-earth season. EXPECT TO see some of the "Black Panthers" discussed, to heighten anti-Black sentiment.
It's gonna be ugly.

HERE'S THE TRANSCRIPT...
ANNOUNCER:
Consider this: United 93 never hit the Capitol on 9/11. But the Capitol was bombed thirty years before By an American terrorist group called Weather Underground that declared "war" on the US Targeting the Capitol, the Pentagon, police stations and more.
One of the group's leaders, William Ayers, admits to the bombings, proudly saying later: "[W]e didn't do enough."
Some members of the group Ayers founded even went on to kill police.
But Barack Obama is friends with Ayers, defending him as, quote, "respectable" and "mainstream."
Obama's political career was launched in Ayers' home.
And the two served together on a left-wing board. Why would Barack Obama be friends with someone who bombed the Capitol...and is proud of it?
Do you know enough to elect Barack Obama?
American Issues Project is responsible for the content of this ad.
That reminds me of why I quit reading the Readers' Digest about 35 years ago.
One issue had an article about how we were bombing the hell out of Southeast Asia and killing Commies for Christ and how righteous it all was to save the world this way, and the very next issue had an article about the Weather Underground and their bombing of draft registration centers and weapons research labs. The RD in that piece called bombs "the weapon of cowards".
Well, which is it?
Damned weasel magazine.

Isn't that what they do every election cycle? Appeal to the lowest common denominator?
It's not surprising me the McCain/Palin ticket would stoop that low. McCain has already done it enough to say "eh, it's not new."

NOTE: I was wrong. This is not an official McCain campaign ad but one from a 527.

I wonder if the corporate media would allow a liberal 527 to air a counter argument for his ad? Experience tells me they won't.

Bring on the already weak and discredited Black Panther charge.
Well bring on the SECEDE FROM AMERICA charge right back at them and shove it down their arrogant throats.

I don't care about his pastor, and actually admire that Barack refused to disown him. This concerns me somewhat however. How close is Barack to this guy?
