I just returned from trip out to US Northwest and I'm listening to a cd I bought at the CrazyHorse.org gift shop...dang, it's wonderful: Bryan Akipa, "Thunderflute.". Oh my, James Brown got the beat from the American Indian, IMHO. He left the spirit of woman behind. Akipa did not do that. It's wonderful to listen to, IMHO. Funk on steroids

The page looks good. The band is good. I can't bring myself to rave about them. It sounds like metal that has been forced to wear a leash and be a good doggie. I only listened to the title track, but from it it seems like a really kick-ass group of musicians that badly needs to find a new singer-songwriter.
