C-Span and at least one MSM outlet showed protesters holding a large sign "YOU CAN'T WIN AN OCCUPATION" and several saying "McCAIN VOTES AGAINST VETS" (signs and Tshirts) last night during McCain's lame speech.

I doubt MSM will interview the protesters and, for that reason, we need to develop this story ourselves. We need to post up information about who were the protesters, how'd they get in? We should also hype them a little bit, making them internet celebrities for the patriotic service they performed.

What say posters?

Blogs are developing this theme, but so far there isn't that much out there as yet.

I still have not found any pictures of the poster "You can't win an occupation" anywhere in an MSM source. Neither have I located the name, let alone a picture, of the protester who crashed the GOP with that effective protest.

We know MSM isn't going to do this for us. They have basically banned any coverage of the protest.

This is the only MSM picture of a protester I've been able to locate so far:

I saw that protester being removed. Where are the pictures of the sign and the other protesters. Who are these valiant patriots? Why don't we know their names, posters?

I still maintain this is an example of the kind of media work we will have to do ourselves. MSM are not going to cover this, posters. We need to work on getting the names of the protesters and we need to treat them as heroes. We need to make them famous for at least 15 minutes.

To do that, we will have to show some interest in what they did and we will have to spread the word about them. If we don't do that, we can't very well complain about MSM endlessly, can we?

The requirement to do this is on us.

AP did do a little story about the protest sign. but note how they go out of their way to make sure the people involved remain anonymous:

REPUBLICAN CONVENTION: Protesters disrupt John McCain's acceptance speech

by Associated Press Thursday September 04, 2008, 10:56 PM

ST. PAUL, Minn.-- Anti-war protesters briefly interrupted John McCain's acceptance speech Thursday night at the Republican National Convention. The nominee told supporters "don't be diverted by the crowd noise and the static."

One male protester and two female protesters were removed from the hall by security officers. The male demonstrator had a sign that read "You can't win an occupation" on one side, and "McCain votes against vets" on the other side.

Complete Republican National Convention coverage

The crowd tried to drown them out with chants of, "USA, USA."

"My friends, my dear friends ... please, please don't be diverted by the crowd noise and the static," McCain said. "I'm going to talk about it some more, but Americans want us to stop yelling at each other."

I am seeking confirmation from Code Pink that the name of the protester who unfurled the "you can't win an occupation" sign was Adam Kokresh.

Once again, anyone have any information on this?

That sign is, in my view, one of the most effective protests to have occurred thus far in the campaign.
