When I first heard of Senator McCain’s choice for running mate, I was dumbfounded. Soon after, I surmised that the campaign knew it was in danger of being trounced. The only hope they had was to do as much damage as they could. This includes not only hurting the Democratic campaign, damaging the credibility of journalism. There are many people who seem to have forgotten that commentary is not journalism. I am saddened that the Republican Party has to resort to poisoning the well as a solution to people’s thirst.

We may never hear the "inside story" about this cynical choice. I hope we do...years later maybe, one of McCain's insiders, in old age, will write a book and tell the REAL story. I wait with bated breath

biggrin.gif Or maybe just funnel Palin's VOICE into his cave and Bin Laden will come out screaming: "No! I give up...please stop! I can't take that VOICE!"
