I believe that the old generation has failed, and has wrecked most of the great country which they have been given. They can only survive by perpetuating stale lies, year after year.
I think that America will not return to greatness until we remove from electoral leadership all persons older than fifty years old. The thought of a decrepit old president at 72 brings back the memory of the stale, ancient, geriatric leadership of the long-dead Soviet Union.
Voting eligibility should end at 65 years of age. If you have not constructed the society and government which you need to function by that age, you have failed.
The Boomer Generation failed. It is time to remove them from any other influence or power. They have dragged us into the gutter, and will continue to do so.
We need a new America - and that comes with new leadership, not ancient Vietnam vets fighting fantasy wars in the mists of their Alzheimer's - befogged minds.
LETS START OVER.

I disagree. I believe it's REPUBLICANS that have ruined the world. There are many valuable progressives over 50. Ted Kennedy and Gore Vidal come to mind immediately.
IMO, when
Republicans are exterminated, 90% of the world's evil goes away. If you want a truly effective fresh start, you will have to exterminate all vestige of Republicans, otherwise they will come back and infest your fresh start with all the old evil.

The problem is not the age of these people, it is their greed for power.
Why be a boss for only being able to inflict pain and suffering? I have been a boss, my signature was required to sign off millions of dollars of work on buildings. I only used my power to do what was right. In time, all I had to do was ask, and it was done. The problem is, there is a very powerful group that hates this. While you are making the workplace a better world for the workers, the powers to be are conspiring to have you removed.
In Washington right now, we have the same situation in reverse, the power pigs are in charge, while good people are in the wings putting their paperwork together because, no man is above the law.
This is not a matter of age, it is a matter of right and wrong. The older man in this particular situation will pardon the most vile and despicable people ever to harm our country. The young Constitutional professor has promised to bring back our infrastructure, and check all breaches of Constitutional law. The choice is yours.

If we could be that selective it would be nice, but if it came down to defeating right wing ideologues meant I were to lose my vote because I was a boomer.... bye bye vote. ... that said, I doubt this plan is in any way realistic either, so I'm not concerned about not being to vote any time soon.

The Boomers own the radical innovation of....the Seventies, Eighties and Nineties.
Good show, all!
Last round, time's up. Live on your own Medicare and SSI - you EARNED it.

Those over 50 are going to be the first targets for depopulation in the USA. You can go along to get along and still get what you want. Dead boomers.
Really, boomers are the majority out on the street protesting this shit. Where were you?

Damn Steve, that's harsh. I'm a woman of 53 years life experience. I've voted in every single election that came my way. I've been politically active for well over half of my life, never voted for a Republican. I was a political organizer with my union, did political education on the issues and registered folks to vote. I was targeted for that union work by my employer and was fired. I fought them and made them pay for it and they had to pay big. I raised 3 sons on my own, one is still at home, just 16 but the older 2 are also politically active and my youngest is going door to door with me in our precinct for Obama. I am a precinct captain along with a 68 year old woman who could dance circles around some of the people here...we both were delegates for Obama all the way to the state convention and we are working our asses off to get Obama elected.
One thing you are not mentioning is the Republicans. There are Young Republicans out there. I confronted one at the Farmers market in Boulder this weekend...all decked out in his shirt, tie and slacks and pasty white skin. He gave me all kinds of BS about why McCain should be elected, I let him talk and talk and talk...chuckling to myself that he was one dumb little asshole. When he finished I whipped out my nephews picture and told him that he died in Iraq before HIS first election so I was voting to bring the troops home, in his honor and Oh, by the way, why haven't you enlisted? He's in school....so was my nephew....he looked away after that. Little wimp couldn't even look me in the face.
I've worked hard for change. I love my country....with all that I have given and with all I am still willing to give I should be turned away?
I DON'T THINK SO!!!!

I feel sorry for a lot of the boomers as they age and get sick many of them will have no where to go because most of their children will be too poor or homeless to take them in or take care of them when the need arises.
but I would say we definatley dont want to get rid of good people whos hard work and life experience contribute to all of our betterment. yes things are a mess but its not the fault of everone over fifty. Mcains problem aint his age its his contempt for we the people and his willingness to continue harming us all.

An enormous and incredibly huge debt is being left for future taxpayers to pay off. Neither Obama or McCain will be raising taxes significantly, Bush and the GOP have done that already! Is America going to reward the GOP with another term in the White House? If they do, then, future taxpayers can enjoy even more tax increases.
