Pat Buchanan outwitted Rachel tonight. He showed his years of experience of shoving lies down people's throats.

He made the claim that Sarah Palin never said that the pipe line or the war was God's will. He said she said to pray for God to bless it or whatever.

If he had done that on Randi's show, Randi would either have read the direct quote to him or she would have played the clip. Rachel pretty much let Pat walk all over her.

I love Rachel, but her show got off to a rocky start tonight. And I didn't like how Keith dominated the first 15min like it was his show.

She needs a new entertainment guy too cuz that guy was boring as hell. At least it was a short segment.

I don't know about getting a new entertainment guy. Kent Jones has been with Rachel since the start of AAR back in '04.

I'd have to see it to believe it, because kicking Buchanan's ass is Rachel's specialty.

I suppose it COULD have happened, no one bats .1000. But that it happened once would make it less likely to happen again!

Comparing RR and RM is the definitive apples and oranges. I sure wouldn't want anyone putting me in the position of choosing one or the other, because I know a LOT of people would be angry about and offended by my choice.

OK, a little history. The "new entertainment" dude you thought so boring, was Kent Jones, and he was one of the few cool remnants of the old Air America along with Janeane, Sam and Marc Maron. Kent was fired by AAR from Rachel's radio show and out of character for Rachel, complained bitterly on the air about his firing. Kent is to Rachel what Duffy is to Randi. It's their first show, cut'em some slack.

Rachel should not have Pat Buchanan on her show. The chemistry is totally wrong. Beyond that, I wish Rachel well and look forward to her having RANDI ON HER SHOW!!!

At least not on the first night.

Oh, and if you saw it, what about those eye lashes? My, God, I felt like the camera operator had to keep backing up to avoid them. I suspect a make-up artist was concerned the # 2s or the # 4s wouldn't "read" on camera, so they went right to the #50 pair. YIKES!

There ya go, I concur, someone who isn't interested in wedgie-diviciousness.

Will not watch if he continues to be a frequent guest. Ick.

I missed it last night, but I will be doubly sure to watch it tonight.

It's true Rachel is no Randi, they have different styles and I love them both!

I agree there was too much Keith in the show...I'm confident the show will get better and Rachel will find her stride.

I agree, Rachel usually kicks Buch. Maybe she was too concentrated on the wicked eyelashes.
