Does anyone else suspect the media of "seeding the clouds." ie oh McCain Palin are ahead it is okay to vote for them. Sorta the peer pressure position of everyones is voting for McCain, or McCain is ahead so I might as well vote for him too. I smell a rat with the media, and I really think they are trying to seed the clouds. I can't believe any sane rational human being would vote for such a Psychotic duo. I can think of better Psychotic duos to run, like Manson, and Jack the ripper. I just can't believe anyone in their right mind would see McCain as qualified, much less even discuss the zealot that is Palin. Palin would be the first to round the Jewish people up.

Aw, c'mon, the MSM hasn't been liberal since the 60's. This is all about corporate friendliness, mainly with the gov't. We the people have the last say, so with overwhelming numbers we will pull out of this mire. The problem is with all the seniors who will vote R. They live in a different time and place. Basically, LA-LA land. they take the checks from SS, but would deny them to those on the brink. It's a PR war, not a political one.

good point, they are NOT AHEAD

Las Vegas says so and I say so and Obama says so...

The electoral college vote is where it is at and the map looks real good, we need to keep the pressure on, no it isnt ok to vote for mccain and NO he isnt ahead...

Maybe the other possibility is to get us to question the polls so that on election day when the polls say Obama is ahead they can point back to this moment and time, and say see the polls weren't right then, they probably weren't right now. Creating the Plausible Denialability excuse in advance.

I just can't believe anyone in their right mind would elect a 72 year old man, and a religious zealot to positions of power. McCain may be okay as a Senator, he may even do okay in business, but most elders are in a position of consultation, not as the bread and butter. Even industry farms people out before they are 60.

And Religious zealots are what is fueling all of this terrorism to begin with, so we are going to put another religious zealot a nanometer away from being the leader of the world? A woman who manipulates as oppose to lead?

I just can't believe the polls are right, and the only reason I can see them saying he is ahead now is to create the illusion of plausible denialability.

When I keep seeing the media pushing stories such as how many WHITE catholic women will vote for Palin over Obama (as if Palin is running for the top job now confused-smiley-013.gif ) I realize that folks are either crazy or this really isn't about the issues, it's about race....... banghead.gif

We may not be able to vote in your election, but we are depending on you to vote for Obama!

Two reasons "polls" are close:

1) the MSM (Pravda) needs to keep the "polls" close in order to maintain interest in the "election" coverage and sell more beer or diapers, or whatever.

2) the "government" (Military-Industrial Complex) needs to keep the "polls" close so that the Republicans can steal the election again

AGREE that #2 will be a strategy used if they can use it, they can only do that if actual turnout is bad...i honestly believe the turnout is going to be incredible and Obama wins in a landslide...

The turnout was rather high in 2004 and they STILL stole the election. I have said before that the election of 2004 was the last (almost) peaceful transition of power in the US. I can't believe the Republicans would be stupid enough to try and steal the next one. The repercussions will be disastrous for the Republicans- they have no friends anywhere in the world except possibly Saudi Arabia, and I believe even the Saudis would drive these Crusading Christowacks into the sea.

It's about neither. It's purely ratings. They know by focusing on one candidate for a while then on another for a while they stir up controversy and bump viewership. And I think McCain new that. That's one of the reasons he picked Palin. He knew the media would jump all over her. I think before the conventions and the VP nominations the media were in a slump with the election. People didn't want to hear it anymore. The topic was being beaten to death. Now here comes Sarah... controversy... nice hair.... a sound bite personality..... a wacky sit-com like family.... and the media were suckers for all of it! Notice how they can't stop talking about her? They brought up the idea that she seems to be the lead on the ticket too I suspect. And I don't think Obama is going to play the media's game just yet. Maybe closer to election day.... if at all. Personally, I think it shows how much class the man has.
