Just for bushwa!

I can't wait to see the puppies in the snow for the first time, that's always funnier than hell. They don't know what to do, then they just go, oh well, let's eat it!!!

I know, I saw that first picture I posted and the dog looks so much like Roxy I realized I was looking forward to our first real snowfall so I can see how she is in the snow.

Schatzi has always loved the snow, but with her arthritis I'm not sure she's going to be able to get into it like she used to. She used to go out there and just roll around in it and then hop around like a large black and tan bunny rabbit.

Snow is good for arthritis, it numbs them a bit.

BTW, in something of a miracle, that fat gray longhair has actually managed a 5 lb. weight loss since the photo, now down to 15lb. Of course, now she's whining for surgery to have the gigantic skin flap removed.

Bushwa--Where in SO.Cal. do you get that much snow? Or were they taken at your winter home in Aspen?

Gorgeous spot at about 7,000 feet in the southern end of Sequoia National Park where I do my trout fishing.

Bushwa---Seriously, oooohhhhh, I am so jealous. I would kill to be there, I love trout fishing in the mountains. Man, I am so jealous, all we have here is shitfish. Although, we did find a 5' Timber rattler at a neighbors barn after it bit a horse. I got to kill it, everyone was e'scared pa'... The horse made it, and I got a nice skin and some good meat. It came down from Wisconsin during the floods here. Anyway, I want to go trout fishing BAD!!!!! I got some great self tied flies that are awesome. I envy you.

My brother and his family just adopted a yellow lab!!! Here he is!!!!!!

The had him for a few days to make sure he would be good with their two tiny daughters, then announced his arrival to the whole family - that night he got scared by the noise of the trash can, squirmed out of his collar and ran away - they looked for him till like 1:30 in the morning - the niext day my brother printed up hundreds of fliers and put one in a police sation - his dog was there, and had been all night!!! So he's home now, but all this drama!

He's really cute, but all yellow labs are cute as far as I'm concerned. He looks really young, he can't be more than a year old.

My dad's dog ended up at the local police station after running off. I think that's the closest those cops have ever come to catching a real criminal. Your brother must live in a small town cause around here a loose dog ends up in Animal Control unless a regular person takes them in.
