Bullaren are two lakes in Bohuslän in western Sweden. Bullarebygden is the area surrounding the two lakes of Bullaren. The landscape is a mixture of forests and meadows. Less than 1,000 people populate the rural area and by tradition farming is still common. Moose hunting and fishing are popular activities, both by people living there and by visitors. It is said a lake monster inhabits Bullaren.

The lake monster is Rove, unable to suck air from innocent mermaids (trying to protect their underwater colony from human waste)...rising from the lake belly-up was a sight to behold. Innocent passersby had babes in strollers violently vomiting with heads spinning. After all, Rove has been known to be an evil spinning monster.
