I'm so disgusted by how this tragedy has been been exploited. The Bush Administration negligence got Americans and other citizens of the world killed. No one is held accountable.

McCain has voted with Bush 95% of the time in 2007 and 100% of the time in 2008. It seems he lost more and more of his "Maverickness".

They slashed the counterterrorism budget from Clinton levels, told Richard Clarke al-Qaeda was no longer a priority (Iraq was - this was in Jan of 2001), stonewalled John O'Neill's requests for more assistance, Rice was more focused on Russia than anything else, and have since 9/11 shielded the Saudis who funded the attack from scrutiny or lawsuit by Americans.

Why was the August 6th PDB totally ignored "bin Ladin plans to attack inside the U.S."?

Why have many of the recommendations for improving U.S. security in the 9/11 report been ignored?

Those are the real 9/11 mysteries that need investigating.
