My heart once again goes to my brothers and sisters in the greatest city in the world. Hope our next Pres. Barack Obama brings justice and closure to all victims of the terrorist attack by capturing Osama bin Laden, unlike the current administration has done or what John McCain will do, if unfortunately he wins this election.

What President Obama will most likely do is verify that Osama bin Laden has been dead for years now. There is no one left to capture; bin Laden has left the building.

He keeps sending tapes to the media 2 or 3 times a year.

Somebody keeps sending tapes. Is it bin Laden? There has been information about bin Laden needing dialysis treatment, that he is most likely dead. Who benefits from a bin Laden alive and at large? Bush does. A dead bin Laden means no more bogey-man.

Did they ever start building the Freedom Towers?

Wait, I found a Earthcam thing that shows you what's going on at Ground Zero now. They are working on something, but it seems to be perhaps just the foundation of The Freedom Towers.

Ok, I have to say this..and I mean no disrespect to anyone, but...

isn't the way we have been reliving this day over and over again each year completely unhealthy?

I mean, I turn on the tv this morning, and they are airing the complete Today show coverage all over again. Do we really need to see all that death and destruction again?

Then there is the huge memorial ceremony...shouldn't we shift into something a little more low-key by now? Did they react like this for years after Pearl Harbor?

I am worried for our collective mental health. I don't know what the correct coping method should be, but it can't be this.

And that is the whole point. This PNAC operation has had lasting value for the Republicans. It was intended to shock, awe, and confuse us. In our state of mental dissaray, the Republicans can steal the US Treasury. I believe the Neocons knew the great criminal and propaganda value their "Second Pearl Harbor" would have before even planning it.

IMO, part of the recovery process involves accepting that there are people who call themselves Americans who put party. wealth and power above country; that there are people who call themselves Americans who are willing to commit treason and mass murder to achieve their goals. We call these people Republicans.

It's an effin' disgrace. 7 years later, and the place is still barren. Meanwhile, the new 7 WTC has been finished for two years.
