I am new here so I am sorry if this has already been discussed.

I have come to the conclusion that the voting public like dumb Republicans. I don't know how many times I have heard that they like candidates because they seem like someone they could sit down and have a beer with. IMHO this has got to be the stupidest reason to vote for anyone. When I choose a candidate I look at the issues they stand for. I generally also look for people smarter than me. If the job were easy enough for me to do it I would do the job myself.

I also believe that the heads of the Republican party like dumb candidates. I have believed that since Ronald Reagan was president. Since that time they look for people who look good and they can control. They essentially look for puppets. The puppet masters are people like Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and Rick Davis.

Sarah Palin is essentially the quintessential Republican candidate. Sher looks good can read a script well and will say exactly what her handlers tell her to say. I guess the cram sessions they have been having haven't didn't cover the Bush Doctrine.

She attended five colleges in six years?

Some of these schools can't seem to "remember" her being there?

All that time school hopping and all she ever got was a BA in journalism?

She got a bachelor's degree in journalism, but never worked as a journalist?

I don't have to be a math prof to see something here that's not adding up.

She's the perfect running mate for McCain, who graduated 895 of 899 in his Naval Academy Class. The perfect ticket... Dumb and Dumberer.

Does it matter? What really matters is if they get voted in then we have tens of millions of "dumbests"!

Ok guys,

What grade level do you think Palin is at? You know, lower 48 grade scale.

I'd say 6th grade?
