Damn, and they wonder why we say republicans are liars.
Oh, damn, this won't win me any friends, but, here goes. I thought ProC was full of shit, and as I told some folks in PMs, I had an almost irresistible urge to ask if he was a 17-18 year old girl whose mom was a Republican and dad was a Dem. (Some of you will understand the reference, and so the implication.)
BUT, I never understood ProC was claiming to be IN China. The fact that he/she/it claimed to be getting their facts from all the major news sources via the internet would have spoiled that lie. Hell, journalists covering the Olympics couldn't access basic MSM sites from China, and they supposedly had special internet privileges.
I'd understood ProC claimed to be a student FROM China. In one post he did say "I live in China," but I still didn't take it as a claim of being there at that moment. I note ProC's "local time" appears to be east coast US time. So if the only reason ProC was banned was the absence of a Chinese IP... well, point made.
All that said, I don't believe ProC was Chinese, or from China, or a student, or someone "studying" the US election process. Indeed, and since ProC is no longer a member, I guess it doesn't break any rules to say I was certain ProC was a dipshit troll getting his or her jollies by trying to bait liberals. Personally, I got a kick out of the constant shifts between Charlie Chan idioms and then sudden and complete familiarity with local colloquialisms.
BTW, funny shit you guys do with the AVIs of the banned. Never noticed that before - is it new?
