Anyone who disses community organization obviously is the person in your neighborhood who never mows their lawn, plays their music too loud on weekday nights and never brings in their garbage cans. These are the people who never volunteer at their kids schools, help out at the cub scouts or girl scouts, never help out at the car pools, don't volunteer for the food drive at their office, deliver Christmas presents to poor kids over the holidays, etc.

Republicans can't comprehend talented young people who decide to go into the Peace Corp, go to New Orleans to help out with Hurricane Relief or work in their communities to help the displaced, the homeless, the elderly or the jobless.
