If the past 24 hours doesnt convince everyone with an IQ over 75 that McCain knows absolutely nothing about the economy, that he is surrounded by lobbyists who if elected will continue the disastrous policies that got us where we are, that Obama is clearly 100 times, no, 1000 times more knowledgeable and qualified, then America will fail a National IQ Test come election day.
Oh, and I know what the average middle class repub will say in response: "regardless of the obvious fact that mccain is unqualified and obviously ignorant, the policies he would pursue are more in my line of thinking and philosophy"
and what are those policies? elimination of govt to the extent that corps will operate with impunity...and tax relief on same corps and the wealthy...
to think this will work in their favor, shows a complete ignorance of history and total inability to see their hands in-front of their face, and I must admit it is frustrating.

And if the majority is in that situation, then it is clear that representative democracy doesn't, and probably cannot, work here. Straussians 1; Jeffersonians 0.
