There are two primaries today in Oregon and Kentucky. Obama is expected to hit a milestone today. He should win a clear majority of pledged delegates.

The only primaries left after today will be on June 3rd when Puerto Rico, Montana and South Dakota vote. HEY wasn’t it ME THAT SAID it would go all the way through Puerto Rico?

Some of you have asked what “inside information” I have regarding Hillary being on the ticket with Obama as VP.

IF Hillary wants to be VP she can not be stopped. The VP will be nominated at the convention along with the Presidential nominee! Super delegates will have plenty to say about that.

AS we gear up for the General Election, please do get to know John McCain and his LOVE for lobbyists. No I mean real true sweaty man/woman LOVE. ICK!

The GOP has received their Talking Points on Barack. In an effort to attack Barack’s wife, children and skin tone they will keep saying that you can’t ask Barack about ANYTHING because if you do Barack will say you’re playing the race card? That’s all they got but it’s gonna be LOW and REPETITIVE. Why? Because they are pathetic little men who HATE their lousy nominee Grandpa John McCain.

When he flip flops remember that he’s old and confused!

RUSH: With Obama we started out, we couldn't talk about his big ears 'cause that made him nervous. We've gone from that to this: Not only can we not mention his ears...

We can't talk about his mother.

We can't talk about his father.

We can't talk about his grandmother unless he does, brings her up as a "typical white person."

We can't talk about his wife, can't talk about his preacher, can't talk about his terrorist friends, can't talk about his voting record, can't talk about his religion.

We can't talk about appeasement.

We can't talk about color; we can't talk about lack of color.

We can't talk about race. We can't talk about bombers and mobsters who are his friends. We can't talk about schooling. We can't talk about his name, "Hussein."

We can't talk about his lack of experience. Can't talk about his income. Can't talk about his flag pin.

This started out we can't call him a liberal.

It started out we just couldn't talk about his ears.

If that witch Clinton finds a way to force herself onto the ticket with Obama, They Will Lose. Make no mistake. Randi, you grossly underestimate the absolute enmity she has engendered among the African-American community. She doesn't even have the common sense to stop doing it. We know that both WV and Kentucky are states that are known to be racist for a variety of reasons. We also know that she could have won both states without resorting to her racist innuendos. She did it anyway with her "hard working white people" comment and because of this, African American voters will never, ever forget or forgive her for it. The Clintons showed us their 'True Colors".

We also understand that she obviously pandered to the OWP (Old White People).

If she is on Obama's ticket, they will lose unless the Democrats and Obama can convince African Americans that the choice of her on the ticket has nothing to do with Obama and that he was forced to have her. We remember it ALL. Do you understand that? The Clintons can go directly to Hell. And tell them they can take that racist bitch Gerry Ferraro with them!

Can the President put the VP's office back in the OEOB? Can the President limit the duties of the Vice President to only those the Constitution gives the Vice President? Can the President transfer the nonVP's duties to other members of his cabinet?

If the President can do this, I do not see her knitting a sweater in the OEOB or attending royal weddings for four years or happy with the position of President of the Senate. She will run as an Independent.

What we have to come to grips with is that Mrs. Clinton will bring over 1800 delegates and 17 million votes to the National Convention. She's carrying close to 47% of the counted vote and will be a very formable opponent at the Convention. She's forcing the people that Bill and her probably helped over the years to make a choice. I personally think we're unestimating the pull these two people (Bill & Hillary) have in the Democratic Party.

Given everything that has gone on this primary season, I love the fact that we're going to the National Convention. We already cut too corners when it comes to government procedures and policies and I think we, as a nation, have learned so much this year. And as a result we have for the first time really looked at backgrounds, families, voting records and all their opinions on issues that effect day to day people. Because we've voted against our interest to many times I think we should embrace this. We praise the number of people who have joined the voting population but we ignore the educational aspects of this years Presidential Primary. Which is far more important.

I agree we should embrace this as a learning experience. I guess all the folks who graduated after 1970 didn't study the CONSTITUTION in High School or College! Isn't it sad that Randi and Mike and Thom have to teach the country about the country? Did it never occur to anyone that IMMIGRANTS study the CONSTITUTION and pass a CONSTITUTION TEST to become citizens! They know more than natural born Americans about our government!!!!

As for the convention and the Hillary veep thing. The Delegates are free to NOMINATE ANOTHER CANDIDATE AT THE CONVENTION. Just because Hillary runs to the finish line does NOT prove that she deserves VP. I think we should make SURE a great nominee is there and gets those votes for VEEP.

Someone like JOHN EDWARDS! A Ticket with Obama/Edwards would clean the slate. Obama/Clinton would loose to McCain. You can take that to the bank.

I graduated BEFORE 1970... and I know my CONSTITUTION and MY NATION'S HISTORY.

I'm genuinely concerned that someone on some level is thinking we will be subjected to the trama of 1963, If Hillary is so interested in being VP, does she think that Obama will have a shortened presidency? That she steps up and then runs again? Ostensibly, she could be looking at 12 years in the white house.
That makes me cringe, but the possibility that there is a plan for another Dallas, well, I don't know, but the thought occured to me as I listened to Randi talk about how much Hillary wants the VP. I'd love to hear other views.

Please can we quit with the giant letters? Your message is absolutely right, no matter how obscene it looks.

I was born in 1952 and I am an old white woman who NEVER EVER wanted Hillary.

That is because I am sick of the Bush Crime Family running the nation and when they get in trouble tossing it to the Clinton family so long as they promise NOT to investigate or arrest the members of the prior CRIME FAMILY. That way all the pardons of criminals stand and nobody goes to jail. Think about this: If McCain wins, they get off the hook. If Hillary wins, they get off the hook. If Obama wins, is he going to step aside and allow Congress to try these people? Is he going to clean up the Justice Department? Is he going to clean up the filthy judicial benches? Are they going to kill him for trying? I fear for him because he is too good for this job and we all know it.

If they touch one hair on his head? It's on. There will be no holding back the wrath that will come out from the people. I fear it will be the beginning of the second CIVIL WAR. I hope these killers know when NOT to do it AGAIN. They have been outed and everyone is watching.

Back to my decrepit age. NOTE TO ALL THOSE OLD WHITE WOMEN WHO ARE HANGING THEMSELVES FOR HILLARY:

IT IS TIME TO LET GO. WE HAD OUR DAY AND IT IS TIME FOR US TO LOOK TOWARDS RETIREMENT.

It is time for the younger people to take over the nation. We have served our time and we pray they will hold us in the dignified manner that we held our elders. I fear they can not do that if we don't step back and step down.

IT IS TIME!!!!!

I voted Obama in our primary... and I will do it again in the National. Obama is going to win.

Hey! maybe Hillary could be a VEEP for McCain! I know that would make Leiberman mad, but heck, when McCain kicks off Hillary at least has a decade of youth over him.

Hmmmmmmmmm

Senator Clinton has telegraphed her intent to run as an independent for president since November. In order for her to make the case she should run, she would have to assert that the Democrat's process was flawed, and she had no choice but to run as an independent in order to correct the process. Thus the argument that she really has won the popular vote and therefor if the Democrats picked the nominee the way the republicans do(i.e. correctly,) she would be the nominee. The country demands that she runs, she has won states that have 270 electoral votes, more than enough to win the White House. She really has no choice. Bush II anyone? The only hope the sane among us have, is that the money people will not go along with her self serving plans.

She won't win California's electoral votes, IMO. Contributors to her win in some states with larger electoral numbers are (1) the Democratic Party, (2) she hadn't yet shown her true character under fire (3) people didn't know Obama well then. If she runs as an independent, all those will now be working against her, and she'll have no chance of winning and only destroy the Democrat's chance of winning the WH. Maybe that's her secret plan, I dunno.

Will Hilary extort the "Four-and-out" promise from Obama? She won't run as an independent, if he promises not to run for a second term?

Yellowbird,
I'm not sure what High School you went to but most High Schools but go in depth when it come to the Constitution. Maybe it was my public school education but I don't remember ever talking about a brokered convention. However I really have no opinion on what's best for Hillary Clinton or the Democratic party. I speech from the point of view of a concerned American who as witness the destruction of his country. And as i see it we got in the situation because did not know enough or care enough about the politic process. And in this Presidential Primary we have incredible numbers come out and speak for what they believe to be true.

Btw, a little off toopic, but an interesting hit on Puerto Rico is over at Daily Kos right now:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/5/21/75...3293/165/519524

Apparently, Puerto Rico may not be as wrapped up for Clinton as anyone thinks.
"The only "data" is from a dated survey conducted by the island's El Nuevo Dia newspaper in late March/early April. That poll had Hillary up 13 points with a margin of error of 4.4.

With all due respect to the good people at El Nuevo Dia, not only is polling not their strong suit, but they have NO experience gauging local preferences for national candidates competing in a first ever true primary election. None. So one must take any poll there with a grain of salt.

Additionally, the poll had a 4.4 margin of error, which means that the gap between Hillary and Obama back then could have been as little as 4.2 points. But more importantly, a political poll done in early April tells us nothing about voter preference today or on June 1st. Nothing. Nada."

Puerto Rican are also not PR's who live in Miami, LA or the Bronx either. They find race baiting offensive as well, because they are truly multi-racial down there. And they are really anti-war because a disporportionate number of their own children are in Iraq. So Clinton's pro-war stance and her stance on Iran do not go over well down there, according to this article.

So we may see surprising results from Puerto Rico... and I think Obama should go and visit.

and actually sounds like a pretty nice place, I might want to visit too!
