WANT RANDI AND RUSH LIMBAUGH DEBATE (The fur will fly when those two get together):
Randi uses facts and Rush uses deception. Deception doesn't take research, but one must be a real expert to use it, and Rush Limbaugh is a master.
I am quite certain that the Rush nuts will still follow their leader after Randi is through with him, because they will still believe every word he says.
What Rush believes and what Rush says are two different things. I think that Rush is a Democrat. After all, who knows that Rush Limbaugh's information is phony more than Rush Limbaugh himself? He was the one who made the phony information in the first place.
Rush doesn't believe in fuel efficient cars. He says that small cars are dangerous, and doesn't notice when engineers say that they can build small, light, but safe cars. He believes in exploiting oil resources everywhere, and when the resources run out, that will be the next guy's problem.
Rush thinks that Global Warming is inevitable and is not affected by mankind.
George W. Bush could do no wrong in the eyes of Rush. Rush covered for Bush's use of torture, Bush's drug addiction and drinking, huge national debt, outsourcing of factories, etc. I am quite sure that Bush could rape a nun on live TV and Rush would come up with something to make it all seem quite wholesome.
I think that Rush Limbaugh is a Democrat--a person who knows better, but is earning a living by deceiving others.
His followers would rather believe lies than the truth.
The problem with the truth is that it often takes longer to tell than a convenient lie. The Republican platform uses very short messages. For example, one message is "drill," meaning drill for oil everywhere (even in wildlife preserves). The Democratic message is long, by comparison, and it involves stating the reasons for not drilling (including the notion that the US imports a huge amount of oil from overseas and even if we drilled everywhere within our own country, we could not get enough oil to be independent). Such lengthy explanations bore Republicans who often want to hear only things that support their own positions. Rush supplies such lies.
