I mentioned this last week and ended up having to defend myself. The media on the air are mostly ignoring them.
Everyday in the interest of fairness MSNBC runs the day's speech from McCain and Obama (they only allow 15 minutes). It
seems fair, but there's always the commentary afterwards. And I can't say that is always fair or accurate.
Also, I've noticed that Andrea Mitchell is probably the best "journalist" on any of the cables right now. I think she has a one-hour show during the day - that's it. It's funny, I don't remember her being that fair in the past, but now she is acting like a professional journalist. Perhaps this is just my perception, or maybe someone pointed it out to me, and I took a second look at her, but she seems,
right now to be bringing out the truth through follow-ups upon follow-ups and basing everything she argues on facts. She's doing her homework, like Randi does. Finally, someone who is not lazy. Olby does his homework and Rachel does too, althought I'm getting pretty tired by the time Rachel is on. But ya know what,
they are not even running enough of the speeches of Obama, Biden and his surrogates. As far as I can see, Randi and other NovaM? are the only ones really doing that.
I think we really need to realize that Randi is our shot to get the whole truth out and nothing but. In fact, most of the time, Randi is ahead of them all - sometimes weeks or months ahead.
There are a lot of people who really listen to her, but most do not go public about it. But you can just tell Randi is listened to by all good liberals in this country.
Btw, here's a post from plodder pertaining to a Glen Greenwald piece.
