Full Version: What annoys me about the MSM, even some of the more liberal shows?

They are acting like Biden and the Clintons are no where to be found when Hillary and Biden have been out there actively. Yeah, if they aren't going to show it on TV, then of course it looks like they aren't doing anything!

yeah that pissesme off as well...they are out there but MSM are too busy following barbie!

Though as Randi rightly says, in America, if it isn't on the TV, it didn't happen.

I mentioned this last week and ended up having to defend myself. The media on the air are mostly ignoring them.

I have a boss like that. If he didn't see it for himself, in his mind no work was ever done.

Reason I am so glad Rachael maddow is now on MSNBC. She tells it like it is and in her own comical way, pulls no punches. MSNBC made the right and smartest move giving Rachael her own show and in the perfect spot, right after Olbermann.

I'm sorry. Did I post in that thread? I don't think I saw it or I would have defended you.

I finally bit the bullet, trimmed some other areas of my personal budget, and got the Digital Preferred package from the Evil Empire, Komkast. Not only can you not get MSNBC with basic cable or extended basic with Komkast in Atlanta, you can't get it on the Digital Starter or Digital Basic. You have to get the Digital Preferred (one step below the Ultimate package).

They won't install until 9/27, and I pray the rumors are untrue and Komkast isn't going to edit out Olbermann and Maddow before then.

What? where did you hear that about them being edited out? I don't have Komkast. lol I have RCN, but a lot of people here have KomKast and I'm in PA. This state is important for Obama to win.

just now matthews says Obama shows NO PASSION...so they want angry black man to come out so then they can have something else to chastise him about!

Everyday in the interest of fairness MSNBC runs the day's speech from McCain and Obama (they only allow 15 minutes). It seems fair, but there's always the commentary afterwards. And I can't say that is always fair or accurate.

Also, I've noticed that Andrea Mitchell is probably the best "journalist" on any of the cables right now. I think she has a one-hour show during the day - that's it. It's funny, I don't remember her being that fair in the past, but now she is acting like a professional journalist. Perhaps this is just my perception, or maybe someone pointed it out to me, and I took a second look at her, but she seems, right now to be bringing out the truth through follow-ups upon follow-ups and basing everything she argues on facts. She's doing her homework, like Randi does. Finally, someone who is not lazy. Olby does his homework and Rachel does too, althought I'm getting pretty tired by the time Rachel is on. But ya know what, they are not even running enough of the speeches of Obama, Biden and his surrogates. As far as I can see, Randi and other NovaM? are the only ones really doing that.

I think we really need to realize that Randi is our shot to get the whole truth out and nothing but. In fact, most of the time, Randi is ahead of them all - sometimes weeks or months ahead.

There are a lot of people who really listen to her, but most do not go public about it. But you can just tell Randi is listened to by all good liberals in this country.

Btw, here's a post from plodder pertaining to a Glen Greenwald piece. http://forums.therandirhodesshow.com/index...ic=9397&hl=

And another thing, there's no reason why radio cannot become the new big thing in real news, coupled right along with the net. And Randi is leading that. We have to spread the word and work together.

Yes. What I'd like to see is a federal law that sets aside a band of frequencies that anyone can view with a regular TV and a government sponsored cable channel, that has to carry ALL notable speeches 24/7 by all contenders, at least at the national level, during elections.

Matthews really pisses me the hell off sometimes. Sometimes I love the guy and other times he just pisses me the hell off. It's weird. lol I used to think Matthews was a jerk actually.

That sounds like my dream come true. biggrin.gif But I also hope that the business of the government is on channels year around that people do not have to pay for.
