Here is a letter and four videos you have to see. Even if your not a veteran these bring McCains Straight Talk Express to a halt.


As veterans, we have a special responsibility. We all share a common bond with John McCain, but that bond does not mean we share common views on the important issues we face. As a member of the AFL-CIO Union Veterans Council, you are well aware of this, however, we need to communicate this important message to your networks of fellow veterans.

To help you manage this challenge, we’ve selected a few videos for you to watch and pass along. These videos show, among other things, how McCain has misled the American public about the Iraq war, backtracked on prior statements about the economy and opposed the new 21st Century GI Bill.

We think every veteran in America needs to see these videos.

Thanks for the post. Yes I am a vet, and I know McCain's record sucks on votes benefiting Veterans.

Thanks Liblaw---As a fellow vet, I also am abhorred at Magoo's BS when it comes to benefits. He uses his veteran status for his gain, and his gain only. I can't believe any veterans orgs. would even let him talk to them.

I couldn't agree more Tap. I honor any mans service to his country but that's not a prerequisite for being President. He could care less about the rest of us.

I was thinking just now about a fellow former Marine and he is also in the stationary engineers union for 18 years now and he votes R every time. I asked what his boss would say if he told him that. He said well they can't do any thing to me, and I said, yeah, but they'd know not to trust you.

That just blows me away, how some one who's a union member can vote Republican when it's the Republicans that want to do away with unions.
