that palin will not give talk to the press? Even at her appearances she will not speak to the press.
we're 48 days till the election and her second interview will be another fluff piece 12 days from now.
this is a real slap in the face to the american people and the office of VP. to think that we should believe her that she's qualified, while not allowing the press to talk about or to her.

it's funny cause I feel like we should be able to force her to do interviews and debates, but there are no rules about this. she actually doesn't have to do either.

Palin's silence and McCain's need to hide her from the press speaks volumes. While Palin avoids the media, the media continues to dig into her record and background, which means that if anything new is revealed, it wont be good news. All the warm and fuzzy stories were told in the first few days. Already there is a steady drumbeat of negative stories day after day, and her negatives continue to rise.
Obama and Biden are wise to ignore her. To attack her only brings her free media attention and increases her stature. Ignore her, and she is forced to make her own news. If she doesn't appear in the news for 12 days from now, that's an awful long time to be absent in a presidential campaign.

It is what it is.
Yes, it's screwed up, but that's their choice. I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over the fact that Palin wont give interviews. I think she has cemented her first impression in the ABC interview, and the longer she waits until the next interview, the more that first impression stews in the minds of voters.
