If we are faced with vileness, and then knock someone upside the head with a cast iron frying pan, WE would be the ones to go to jail! angry.gif So we can do it here, at least it's in a supportive and non-prison environment.

This post by Laura, which I'm sure most of you have seen by now (in election '08 forum), made me think of this right now - it's about an email from a friend of hers:

QUOTE
I had sent her the ad from Obama when he is talking about what he would do to help the economy....I thought it would be good for her to see it...
This is what she sent me....
I was shocked!

Laura, what in the world makes you think that this Southern girl is interested in your half-breed nigger! LOL

Do you know what I wrote back....I said
" Carole, do you think of me as a "kyke" because I'm Jewish?"

Well, like I said, we can vent at things like this here. I personally can't wait to post my own emails that are driving me crazy.

OK, I put this in another thread, but have got to remember to stop doing that and come here instead. laugh.gif

My father sent out a mass email yesterday about the economic crisis (oh, and he attributed ME with calling the bailout "creeping socialism", I won't even address that here, he was obviously just momentarily having a brain fart or something) but my sister sent this email back:

QUOTE
The only thing that I can add is that I know that ever since 2001, President Bush had sent numerous emails warning congress (basically, forseeing all this coming) but nobody wanted to listen to someone who was stupid and couldn't put two sentences together or get up and give an intelligent sounding speech. Oh yeah, and like, Moses, stuttered (although I have never heard him stutter). Since we are on the subject of stuttering, Obarck stutters more than anyone I've ever heard (or is it that he's searching for answers? I think Biden is going to come up with some unfortunate reason why he has to drop out so that Hilary can be the new VP mate.

OK, now as I said in the other thread (sorry to repeat myself, but know I shouldn't discuss these things as off-topic asides in other threads) my sister thinks BUsh is smart, and has her homeschooled little girl pray in front of Bush's framed portrait every day before they start their lessons. *shiver* OK, she thinks Bush is smart. Whatever. But where did she get the idea that Moses stuttered? Was this "revealed knowledge" that God gives the far whacked-out? But the thing that started this whole posting was that she thinks Biden will drop out for Hilary - she doesn't think this at all - from what the other thread said, this has been a FOX rumour, and they succeeded in making her think that she THINKS this.

OK, have blown off steam - maybe I can actually go get some useful work done now. Thank you.
Gwynogsrabbit
I'm posting this email here, so I don't nail it to my mother's head.

A few days ago I saw a woman who works for ACORN and she was rounding up voters and she was asked if she influences the voters. She said that she does and acted like she was proud of it and she tells them to vote for Obama. I think she was in Ohio. This is so despicable. Can you imagine what would happen if the Republicans were doing that? I have told my children in the past that I am a registered Republican because they uphold the values that I believe in - if that changes then so be it - I will be something else. Then today I read this article. They have even signed up using the names of the Dallas Cowboys among others. These are the kind of people - do whatever in the name of winning - who will be running our country if Obama wins. I am sick and tired of their ways. There have been thousands signed up. Now, what can be done about it? McCain may not be Ronald Reagan but Obama has caused me great concern since he came on the scene. I have not had any peace about him or what he stands for. What he says and what he has done in the Senate combined with his liberal views is so horrible that I cannot imagine what laws will be passed with the Democrats already in charge. It seems like whatever is found that he is involved with be it Ayres or Wright or other concerns it rolls off of his back. Talk about a Teflon Ronald Reagan - Obama has him beat by a mile with the liberal press. So many of these people are voting for him because he will give it all away. Someone has to pay for what he is giving away. Guess who it will be! George Bush has disappointed me and there isn't going to be a perfect President but oh my - just think of what not only Obama can do but what he can do with the Democratic Congress. We are in serious trouble when we abandon the ways of the Lord for "our ways." We have known about McCain - his good points and bad. We do not really know Obama! He may be our next President and that is a very scary thing to consider with the values that I was born and raised with and my parents and theirs before them, and now, just look around - it is all going down the tubes. Where are the values that made this country a source of God-fearing and God-loving people! God help us all!

Her mind is an empty bucket ready to be filled my whatever garbage they throw at her! Did you notice - just the past couple of days the McCain campaign has been screaming about ACORN and how "we don't know Obama" And she gets on her email lists and throws it back out.

But really, it's how freaked out she is that is the most disturbing, I don't even have any interest in responding. Maybe this is a turning point and I'll just see her emails as a source of amusement.

Sad. Embarrassing.

As a Southerner I 'll be happy to apologize for this stump jumpin' rube's lyrics.

This from a "friend" about Barack and Michelle back in March:

He's just being a "typical white person."

You guys better put Hillary up there because Borat
Hussien Ayatola Quadafi Hezbollah OsamaBama just lost
the election for you.

All Hail The Osama Christ.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72B3tUAqpo4

So she was never proud of the USA? Was she proud of
the USA when she was getting a FREE RIDE at Harvard?
She should be on the ground kissing the ground in
front of that flag because it handed her the most
priviledged life on the face of this Earth. For free.

"As a black man, Borat could be shot just going to the
store?"

Really? She never mentions that something like 94% of
the murders are committed by either black or hispanic
people. I suppose that is my fault also?

I wish I was black I could have gotten a free ride at
Harvard with my grades. Instead I pay student loans to
for an education at a state school because I am white.

Kneel before the Osama Christ.

He's not as smart as he thinks, he had to pay to go to a school that gave me a free ride!

You know I can't wait for Nov. 5th to send it back to him
wink.gif
Gwynogsrabbit
Yikes SuaF. Why is he calling him "Borat"? And is "the Obama Christ" a cutesy name for them thinking he's the antichrist? Nice "values" this person has. I've had it with them, I didn't used to be a mean person, but have no tolerance anymore for their sub-mud-sucking-mentality, they have no right to force the planet to follow their dull-witted blood-lust lead.

I mean, what are these "Republican" values" they cling to so desperately? The value of the mob mentality, screaming for Obama to - I can't even write it. ohmy.gif sad.gif The value of vengeance seems very high on the list. As is the value of thinking the Republican party is golden and would NEVER commit voter fraud, let alone election fraud. Torture, sig heil. When my mother goes on a freaked out tirade on liberals, I'll remind her that I am liberal and she'll pause and say, "Oh don't say that" in a hushed voice, like I had just said, "You know I like to kill babies, I have their blood for breakfast". Plus, she obviously has forgotten again that I am liberal, she even says, "Oh I forgot". At least my husband has finally admitted that I am probably adopted, because there is no friggen ass way I came out of that woman's uterus, and if so I'm hoping now that he will abandon the idea of me reproducing my own DNA, because the evil force is strong in my family.

It's funny how I NEVER used the word evil before 7 years ago.

What a depressing thread.

I'm sorry, Tap! sad.gif Man, the last thing I want to do is make people depressed. It's an attempt at keeping sane by knowing others out there have these people in their lives too.

Here's the thing - if they are listing us as terrorists now, which in many cases they are, and if they lock certain ones of us up for lengthy times - would these relatives of ours defend us? I want to think so, but my husband is convinced they'll just make a claim for our property.

We need to vent about having to be related to these people.

BugsBunny(No Offense, its easier to type)--I know, it was just so sad to actually know other people have to go through what we go through. My mother in law called the other day to tell us how Slush Limpballs explained to her how this is all Clintons fault!!! I about lost it. She is so hard core rw because of the estate tax that she will never come around. SO now we have to keep our political views secret because she is the patriarch. She actually called us one night last year shouting Shrub is on, Shrub is on, aren't you watching? We were like no, we've had enough of his BS. So hey, I'll still check out the progress of this thread depending on my mental health.

Well I'm glad Rush "explained" it to her. dry.gif Ack I find it interesting that my mother no longer calls that Bush is on, but wants us to listen to O'Reilly, her immortal god. She is very attracted to bullies, they're her favorite people. Hmm, maybe that's why I'm her least favorite kid laugh.gif

This is a guy that I thought to be a friend. Little did I know, that a move to Boston would fit him so well.

He is a bitter ass who has supremacy issues. He followed that one with 2 more that were even nastier. Imagine that.

I did make the mistake of sending him an update a few weeks back, which started a whole new batch.

I will send them back to him on Nov. 5th, laughing my ass off the whole time.

I had no idea what Acorn was, so I held off making any rush decisions on the matter. After listening to Randi, she does make some sense out of it. She usually does fill in the gaps of my information as I perceive it. The Acorn group took all of the questionable voting cards and put them all into a pile by law. The minute I hear of someone trying to follow the law, that is a key word that you don't hear from the repugs. The repugs did use the law to keep Gore from winning, but they did not allow the counts to continue to do this. So the repugs very rarely use the law, but when they do, it is not for us.

Just when I think they can't get any stupider, they push the threshold. Got this email:

QUOTE
WHO WOULD JESUS VOTE FOR?

1. Jesus would not vote according to his 'pocketbook.'

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

2. Jesus is Pro Life.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before you were formed in the body of your mother I had knowledge of you, and before your birth I made you holy...

Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

3. Jesus is not tolerant of the homosexual lifestyle.

Romans 1:27-28 And in the same way the men gave up the natural use of the woman and were burning in their desire for one another, men doing shame with men, and getting in their bodies the right reward of their evil-doing. And because they had not the mind to keep God in their knowledge, God gave them up to an evil mind, to do those things which are not right...

4. Jesus would not vote for anyone who has interests in other religions besides Christianity.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

5. Jesus is against welfare (the church should provide for people's needs).

2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

6. Jesus is pro Israel.

Nehemiah 13:2 Because they did not give the children of Israel bread and water when they came to them, but got Balaam to put a curse on them: though the curse was turned into a blessing by our God.

Genesis 12:2-3 I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. You will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. All of the families of the earth will be blessed in you.

7. Jesus knows who really controls the economy.

Matthew 6:31-34 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

8. Jesus is not worried about social security or the stock market.

Matthew 6:19-20 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

It all comes down to this. We need God in America again. Our economy, our children, our marriages, etc. need healing. While neither candidate looks to be a strong Christian candidate - as a nation which one will lead us closer to God and not farther away?

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

As Christians, who we vote for does matter to God!

Romans 14:11-12

As surely as I live,' says the Lord, every knee will bow before me;

every tongue will confess to God.' So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.

I'M A CHRISTIAN AND I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE

ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!11!!!! (Warning, heavy swearing cuz I need to!!) Admittedly, this isn't as bad as some, but lordy I need to unload...

Ok, I just got finished seeing my sister...she's a small business owner (she and bro.in law have a chocolate/candy store and make great chocolate truffles on site), married with 2 kids (a Senior filling out college applications, the other is a Freshman in H.S.).

We don't see each other a lot, but I visited her at her store and conversation segued into the Election and Obama.

AFTER ALMOST 2 FUCKING YEARS OF THIS UNENDING GODDAMN CAMPAIGN, SHE FUCKING ASKS ME "What's his background?". I thought for a minute she meant experience-wise, which would be bad enough seeing as how these questions have been asked over and over, but no.

I stared at her for a minute and said "What, you got a Muslim scare?" She said "No, no". but then asks me where his mother and father were from...GGGGAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! With 2 teenagers and a small business that she said had a bad summer financially, THIS is the first fucking question she asks me!?!?!?!

I said Kansas/Kenya...I don't know if Kenya scares her for any reason...don't know if Kansas does for that matter rolleyes.gif

I also don't know that she believes he's Muslim and I was ready to criticize any Muslim-bashing a la Colin Powell...but then a customer then came in and so we had to stop, which is probably for the best.

We're part Russian...does that mean she gets her chocolate from Uncle Joe Stalin's Communist Chocolate Suppliers??

I don't expect everyone to listen to 8 hours of liberal talk radio 5 days a week, but holy goddamn shit, WHERE IS HIS MOTHER AND FATHER FROM!?!??! She said that
both Obama and McCain have serious red flags for her, and asked me what the website was that dispelled rumors (Snopes)...Nice to know she's getting right on that 2 days before the Election...banghead.gif

She admitted that she doesn't believe anyone, which is understandable SOMEWHAT...and I know anything I say would just translate into "Obama worship".

Hopefully Snopes will help her out...doing a search under his name there, it should provide her some information...

Holy God, get me to Tuesday...thanks for the frying pan vent...

Your sister sounds exactly like the typical undecided voter right now!!! ohmy.gif 1. Doesn't believe any of them, since "they all lie" 2. He scares me because I don't know anything about him dry.gif 3. Thinks defense of Obama is from someone who has fallen for his Obama-cult.

They just need to not vote at all, there is some point where such a severe lack of responsibility to take their voting right seriously means they just don't get to vote. And they probably won't, so smile.gif
